Liza Hostetler-IngallsCo-Founder & Creative Director of LBArts Collective
graduated magna cum laude from Emerson College in 2005 with a degree in Musical Theatre, Philosophy, and Dance. She has been associated with the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio since 2000 in performing, teaching and choreographing capacities, working with Sybil Huggins, Didi Ilunga, Ricardo Foster, Jr. and Kelly Peters in a variety of dance styles, including hip-hop, tap, and jazz. She has also studied jazz, ballet, and movement at Emerson College with Marlena Yanetti, Lorraine Chapman, and Elizabeth Waterhouse.
Hostetler-Ingalls works as assistant choreographer and dance captain for Unyted Stylz Urban Entertainment Umbrella. The two performing groups, U.S. Crew and The Bomb Squad, perform in and around Boston and New York. In July 2006, she choreographed a piece that was presented at the Boston Hip-Hop music awards, in collaboration with Acuta Records and Ricardo Foster, Jr..
Liza was co-founder, co-producer and choreographer for the Movement Workshop Group, along with director Leslie Guyton. MWG performs original work in Boston, New York, and Philadelphia. Hostetler-Ingalls is currently Creative Director of LBArts Collective which is closely tied to the Movement Workshop Group and recently collaborated with Dana Fitchett on a new short experimental dance piece which was presented in Boston as their second production of the season.
