 Black Feathers

first premiered as part of the Rareworks Spring Season at John Hancock Hall in April of 2005.

The piece was conceived collaboratively by Director Leslie Guyton, Choreographer Liza Hostetler, Costume/Prop Designer Megan (Trixie) Fraher, Producer Meg (Babs) Curtis, Sound Designer Megan Curtis, and Lighting Designer  Kirkwood Adams III, and the entire cast.

After a three month rehearsal process, the group developed a movement piece which celebrated the style of Pina Bausch by exploring 1950's music, fashion, and gender conflict.
