Women dance call - Character C
(Men from 2-4 time slot may be asked to stay to audition for Character C as well.)

Character B: (male) is fun loving, loyal, protagonist's soulmate. 
Character C: (female or male) is domineering, sexy, protagonist's lover.

Strong preference for dancers who can act.  Must have a comfort with improvisation and collaboration.

***PLEASE NOTE: that Sun. April 4th is Easter Sunday.  While we prefer to audition performers on the 4th, you may be able to audition another day.  Email us to reserve a spot for the 4th or to request an audition on a different day. ***


DETAILS
The Movement Workshop Group is a dance theater company mounting its fourth full length dance theater piece.  We are casting the NYC & Boston Tour (w/possible stops in New Haven and Philadelphia) of Wanderlust.
October/November 2010 - Exact Dates TBA (travel paid)

Rehearsals will begin in earnest in early September through October in the evening and on weekends.

OTHER DATES
Mt. Tremper Residency April 16th - 19th & May 14th - 17th
Rehearsals in NYC June 17th - 21st
Preview performances Tuesday April 27th, May 25th, and June 22nd

COMPENSATION
If cast, you will receive:
1) Free training in our monthly workshop series:
1.5 hours of Martha Graham Technique
3 hours of guest artist instruction in acting and dance techniques
2) Free admittance to Grotowski Acting Training Intensives
3) Travel & housing while touring is paid
